RE: John Cooley's death

Hi Brad,

I should have mentioned to you that there's an anomaly with the list
server software. Messages should be sent in plain text until I can find
time to fix it.

Everyone...Brad is a new correspondent. His interest is Anna Eliz Cooley,
a daughter of Amy. She married Isaiah Faris 22 Dec, 1846 Miss Co., MO.
Brad had thought that Amy's husband was George W Cooley but I think he now
agrees that she was married to Jonathan. I see on the 1850 census for
Mississippi county that Isaiah and Ann Farris are living, with their 2
year-old son, George, in Amy Cooly's household:

1850 > MISSOURI > MISSISSIPPI > 57-DIST
Series: M432 Roll: 406 Page: 460

Amy Cooley is found in Scott county in 1840:

1840 > MISSOURI > SCOTT > WOLF ISLAND
Series: M704 Roll: 232 Page: 64

On the same page is A J C Cooley, 20-30, with presumed wife, 20-30. No
children. Does anyone know who A J C was? This was probably a newly
married couple.

William Grundy Cooley (20-30) is on page 66. I see that WMC's son in-law,
Isaac Pile, and W G Cooley's brother-in-law, Joseph Webster, are on the
same page. Could A J C have been an unidentified son of WMC's?

From notes re: the 1838 lawsuit:

(Wm M Cooley, d 1823)
..Richard Cooley
..Jonathan Cooley
..(Joel Cooley, d 1812)
....William G Cooley
....Elizabeth Cooley (c1812-) m Joseph Webster
..Ann Cooley (c1811-) m Isaac Piles

And I see that Benton is in Scott County. Wasn't one of the mystery
Cooleys born in Benton?

-Michael
