I thinking that the division was much later than 1821, so some would be deceased. Would wife Elizabeth still be living and one of the 10?  I think the land was not in Platte county-- just that John and Docia were living there.  Benjamin R. Cooley and wife Elizabeth were living in Howard County.  Maybe the land was in Howard county.  Many unanswered questions.   I heard back from Greene County, Missouri and they found an obit for Nimrod Cooley and will be mailing it on Monday.  I am hoping for the best -- I did that for the death certificate that I got from Montana -- parents were listed as unknown.   Sandy ________________________________ From: Michael Cooley <michael_at_newsummer.com> To: John Cooley Mailing List <undisclosed.recipients_at_johncooley.net> Sent: Sun, July 15, 2012 2:29:59 PM Subject: Re: Theodosia Cooley You're probably right. If I'm counting correctly, there are eleven children identified. It appears that all of them were living at James's death. If that's correct, what would account for ten parts? Was the land in Platte county? -Michael > That is not how I am reading this.  > I think that John and Docia Roberts are selling 1/10 of undivided land to > Benjamin R. Cooley. And that William C.
