I believe from my research that Oscar and Raymond that
you have as a son of Stephen is the same.

from the WWI registration card:
Oscar Raymon Cooley
address: Gravel Switch, Marion, KY
age: 44, born 4 May 1874
Farmer
Wife: Susie Cooley

O.R. is of medium height, slender built with Blue eyes
and gray hair.

I have other documents showing him with both names,
but will have to dig if you need more.
