Others on the 1850 Spartanburg Co., SC census

I believe this particular census taker had lots of problems with names or
perhaps couldn't read his own writing when recopying it to the final census
sheets!

There is this entry:

Edmond 75 m Farmer $1000 SC

Caroline 12 f SC

Betsey Glenn 28 f SC
(no last name given except for Betsey. One would assume last name would be
McAllester as above family - however, why would Edmond 75 be born in SC and
50 y.o. A.McAllister be born in Ireland?)

(The last name is listed as McAllister - but this is remarkably similar to
William Pinkney McMillin & Adeline Cooley McMillin)

Now for the leap - Could this be Edmond Cooley? in Family 1543 whose
birthdate would be 1775??? Edmond who married Charlotte Speace?
