Hi Michael,

I am sure you mean the 1850 census ;).

I am going to send you at your e-mail address the marriage image for William
G. Cooley.

Mary C.

Hi Mary,

We should probably get Janette Pollard and Jeff Clark involved in this
conversation.

As I understand it, Joel's son William Grundy Cooley was born in 1805. He
and Elizabeth Haggard are listed as heirs of WMC because their father had
died. See
http://ancestraldata.com/Notes/index.cgi?1229380138+/ahnentafel/256/lineages/jo

Also,

From Dover, TN, Stewart County Deed Book 10, page 519, as posted by Jeff
Clark at worldconnect:

"Now the said William G. Cooley one of the begat heirs of Joel Cooley
deceased..."

I've added your 1950 census reading for James B Cooley to my online notes.
Thanks!

-Michael
