In 1982, Dale told me in booklet he put together for me that John Cooley, born 1740 was the son of Lambert Cooley and his wife Sarah Van Gordon. Lambert (Leendart) Cooley was the son of William Cornelius Cooley and his wife Sarah Westfall (Wesvaal). William Cornelius Cooley was the son of Lambert (leendart) Coele and his wife Rebecca. I am sure that somewhere I have a fgs for this but have no idea where it could be in my many boxes that are not organize. I am sure he got all that from the Hamil book.

Subject: Dale Walker's FGS
I thought sure I had Dale's family group sheet. What I do have is a 1986
interpretation of it from Eleanor Rue. I may have known this before, but
Eleanor explains that the information on John was taken from *two* sheets.
The first one, dated 22 Nov 1980, says that John's parents were William
Cornelius Cooley and Sara ___, which roughly conforms to Hamil. It further
states that his grandfather was Lambert Cool. However, Dale's chart dated
May 1982 says that John's father was Lambert Cool and Sarah Van Sordon
(which Eleanor corrected by hand to read "Van Gordon.") Hamil claims that
Lambert (Leendert) was *son* of Willem Cornelis Cool--in other words, that
Johannes/John was the brother of whom Walker claimed was his father.
(Ugh!)
Of course, none of it is true--certainly not in respect to the Cooleys.
I'm just trying to determine to whom I should attribute the false
statements. :)
The CFAA has a file with Dale's correspondence. It might contain the the
charts. But the CFAA's genealogist, Doug Cooley, is wintering in Arizona.
It'll be May before I see them. If anyone has either of them, I'd love to
see a copy.
