Some minor DNA test results

I just noticed that my Z284 SNP test had come back a couple of weeks ago.
Of course, it's positive. That was expected because it's upstream from
L448, the "Young Scandinavian" marker. I just thought it would be nice to
complete the arc.

And the first Wm Henry Cooley tester has received results for L448. Again,
there's no surprise that he's positive--his Y-STRs are nearly identical to
ours. That SNP (a mutation from one chemical to another) is about 2300
years old so it really doesn't help us in determining how Wm H was related
to John, but it's the youngest SNP in our line available for testing. I'd
gotten excited that PF4661 has been discovered and is downstream
("descended") from L448. This map, though, doesn't look encouraging. (I'm
assuming the testers are took the Geno 2.0). It seems to widespread
throughout Europe to be have much help to us.

On another note, I'm working on the manuscript a little but nearly every
morning.
