RE: Cooleys on 1840 MO census

From: Michael Cooley <michael_at_newsummer.com>

The KY deed I mentioned earlier is dated 1844. A J C isn't mentioned as an
heir, but he could have died right anytime between 1840-44.

We've talked about the Jonathans before but I'm still not straight on
them. This first listing is from Henry Co TN in 1840, and the widow Amy
was in MO...

Jonathan Cooley 111101-2110001
Amy Cooley 001200-1100010

We know from the KY deeds that Amy/Ann's husband was a Jonathan. We know
that the W G Cooley who shows in Scott Co MO was Joel's son. And Henry
County figured into the 1838 suit over WMC's property. But how do we know
that Amy's Jonathan was the WMC's heir but not the Henry County Jonathan?
Can we be sure which entry above is ours?

-Michael
