I don't think Joseph Edwin Cooley's son Charles is the same as your Charles.
After a brief check I believe that Joseph Edwin Cooley's Charles is Charles
M Cooley. It would appear that Charles M Cooley died in Kansas.
Interesting that the Charles who died in MO had a father named Edwin!

Off and on I am doing research on the William Henry Cooley/Sophia Susan =
Havens line. William & Sophia had a son named Joseph Edwin Cooley =
(1820-) who had a son Charles Cooley born 1852 (birth year based on =
census) in Illinois. I haven=E2=80=99t researched his line but he was =
enumerated with his parents 1870 in Licking, Crawford County, IL. =20

Of the Joseph Edwin Cooley & Mary E Howard (1823-) I have only followed =
the Joel Henry Cooley (1846-1925) line. Joel lived & died in Crawford =
County, IL. =20

I will check on Charles.

I can't see how he would fit either. 1900 he says parents b France and =
Alabama, 1920 he says both b Wisconsin.
Maybe later we'll get some new info!

  Sandy,

I can't find an Edwin that would have been born that early in any of =
the
