Yes I can toggle "MIME" off by selecting "Uuencode" in the Plain Text
settings - I don't know what that is.

It seems that even hypermail, which is the program I use for the archive,
isn't always catching these.

There's a lot of discussion about this problem on chat boards, but none if
it is technical so I don't understand what's going on "under the hood," so
to speak. But it seems to have something to do with MIME, which the script
I wrote for the list doesn't take into account.

Can you toggle MIME on/off in your outgoing emails?
