I ended up getting distracted from the Brooks inquiry last night and
followed the Morgans and Turpin, who appears to have some intermarriage,
but I found no connection to the Cooleys, other than the two marriages.
Nancy Turpin Brooks died during the CW. Well, I've just searched for
Brooks again and found nothing of interest to us. It may well be that the
couple was just being neighborly and took him in for awhile. Perhaps he
did some work for them and was receiving room and board in kind.
