HI Michael,

If you would be so kind as to correct my previous post to you that has been included in your Michael Cooley Genealogy Page as follows... 4th sentence from bottom should read
"Her "Aunt" Ann Cooley m. Isaac Pyle (Pile)
5th sentence from bottom should read
"Her "Aunt" Elizabeth Cooley m. Joseph Webster
My point here is for me and other researchers to know that Jonathan Cooley (recently discovered by me "father" of Ann Elizabeth Cooley) was likely her father as Jonathan's sisters lived very close to her in Scott County, MO in 1840. This further supports that he is my 4th G grandfather.

Also, your ahnentafel lists her name as "Eliza Jane" Cooley and it should read "Ann Elizabeth" as stated in her marriage certificate to Isaiah Alexander Faris.

Thank you very much for all of your hard work here Michael. You have done so much.....

Bradley Gibson

Anna Elizabeth Cooley b. 20 Dec 1830 in Columbus, Hickman County, KY and d. 21 Feb, 1862 Mississippi County, MO. She m. Isaiah Alexander Faris 22 Dec, 1846 in Mississippi County, MO. Isaiah Faris' mother was Betsy Crockett Faris of Northern Section of S.C.. This family removed to Obion County, TN in 1829 (Davy Crockett's Congressional District) after Davy visited this Northern section of S.C. (formerly N.C.). The Faris family lived in Obion County, TN from 1829- 1838 when they removed to Scott County, MO. In 1845, Wolf Island, Mississippi County, MO was formed from Scott County, MO. I calculate the birth of Anna Elizabeth as possibly being in Hickman County, KY 20 Dec, 1830. Her uncles Seth and George W. Cooley appear just N. of Faris family (Obion County, TN) in Weakley County, TN in 1830. Her sister Elizabeth Cooley m. Joseph Webster resides in Scott County, MO in 1840. Her sister Ann m. Isaac Pile (Pyle) resides in Scott County, MO also in 1840. This is the same family. Jonathan Cooley, father/husband apparently dies before this family removes to MO. I believe he died in Marshall County? KY before 1939.
