RE: More Mildred Tallant

Cynthia,

Are these Whites and Websters of Casey County KY, TN or MO?

There is only the slightest hint that John's wife was Sarah Matthews.
Nothing even approaching a secondary source has yet come up. Here's my
page for her:

http://ancestraldata.com/ahnentafel/257/

But promoting that Sarah was John's wife is a whole lot better than
promoting that Elizabeth Fermin/Firmin was. :)

I've never seen a General Matthews associated with this family.

The William Cooley who went to Kentucky has never been identified. Unless
we can show there was a collateral family to John Cooley, William was
almost certainly not related to us. The area in Rowan County NC that he
and the Boones hailed from is quite removed from Townfork Settlement,
where our Cooleys lived.

-Michael
