I was at the Kentucky State Archives in Frankfurt this summer and it is
a nice facility and not very old. It is on the edge of town, off by
itself. They have finding aid binders by county and some materials were
filmed, but original records were brought to me in archival boxes. The
staff was helpful and I would like to go back again as I have lots of
Kentucky families.
